Our mission is to promote sustainable change in Haiti’s artisan communities through innovation, design guidance, high standards of quality control and socially responsible trade practices. We seek, organize and mobilize the creative talents of Haiti, helping them to achieve beautiful products with lasting results and our two stores in Haiti provide a reliable market for our artisans and their beautiful work.
CHOUBLAC has promoted economic growth in the communities where we work and enhanced the image of Haiti through the beauty of its crafts and the talent of its people. Our unique products travel around the world as special gifts to family and friends.
We work with artisans from the communities of Côtes-de-Fer, Fonds des Blancs, Les Cayes, Les Abricots, Jacmel, Lavallée, Leogane, Mariani Lilavois, Croix-des-Bouquets, Kenskoff, Delmas 75, Gonaives, Gros Morne, Terrier Rouge, etc...
Many of the groups that we work with are WOMEN. We are always looking to identify and empower more communities of women that could contribute to our beautiful gift collection ALL HAND MADE IN HAITI.
